I have been having lessons from Avelia for many years. She is a very calm and patient teacher of great ability. On the other hand, I must be a nightmare to teach. I would recommend this lovely lady to anybody seeking trumpet lessons for themselves or family members.

I’ve been having lessons with Avelia for a couple of years, during that time I progressed from Grade 3 to Grade 5 on the tenor horn. Avelia has really helped me grow in musical confidence, I joined an adult wind band and I’m happy to tackle pieces I wouldn’t have thought possible a year ago - together we work hard and my lesson is something I really look forward to.

I met Avelia through friends. I told her I regretted not learning to play piano as a child and would she consider giving a 60 yr old lessons. Avelia is a very encouraging teacher who gives praise where praise is due. The lessons are designed to meet my personal goals and always fun.
